ERA Live Moore Hosts First “What Moves Her” Event

in Charlotte on Tuesday, March 24 at the Mahlon Adams Pavilion, featuring author and housing advocate Kathy Izard. What Moves Her, a national initiative from Compass International Holdings, supports and connects women across the real estate industry through leadership development, mentorship, and community-focused events.

The event marks the launch of the What Moves Her initiative in the Charlotte market and will bring together women from across the community for a morning centered on leadership, connection, and local impact. Izard, known for her work addressing housing and homelessness, will speak about the role individuals and communities can play in creating meaningful change.

Guests will begin arriving at 10:30 a.m., with the program starting at 11:00 a.m. The morning will also include time for networking, a book signing, light refreshments, and a raffle supporting Roof Above, a local nonprofit working to end homelessness. In addition to the on-site raffle, ERA Live Moore has conducted a collection drive for Fresh Start Kits—essential items for individuals transitioning into housing—and will deliver 17 complete kits to Roof Above immediately following the event. Community members can continue to contribute by purchasing items through Roof Above’s Amazon registry:
